Dylan Penn stars in the film alongside her dad.
Dylan shared photos from the red carpet on her Instagram. The pictures featured Sean, Dylan, and Hopper, as well as Katheryn Winnick, who plays Sean's character's wife in the movie. "Last night was a dream," Dylan captioned the photos. "Thank you to everyone who made this possible! I am forever grateful." Before Flag Day, Dylan had appeared in a handful of movies, including Unregistered and Condemned. She was also in Nick Jonas' music video for "Chains."
Hopper Penn, who is also in the film, has been getting into producing.
Hopper has also appeared in a handful of feature-length movies and short films. Some of Hopper's credits include The Last Face, War Machine, and Between Worlds. He's also begun to work as a producer. In 2020, he acted in and produced the movie Puppy Love.
In 2016, Hopper told Interview that he never intended to act. When his dad was working on The Last Face, Hopper wanted to be a production assistant for the movie, but Sean insisted he be in it. "I said 'no, 'because I'm very shy; I didn't know how to act," Hopper told Interview. However, once his dad told him he would get paid for it, Hopper was in. "After the first day, I fell in love with it," he recalled.
